The idea of the Traditional Karate Do Institute came from Nishiyama Sensei to Mr. Nelson Carrión during a conversation in Caorle, Italy 1997.
“Sensei suggested me to create an Institute to develop in Europe and other continents the concept of Traditional Karate Do following the principles given by his instruction and program of development.”
Many years passed and with Dr. W. Kwiecinski and Mr. Avi Rokah we decided to set together the TKI and go forward in this project. Today the TKI is already in some continents worldwide where the principal objective is to serve and give instruction to the new instructors and students.
More than 50 Dojos around the planet are working with our Education System.
We will open an international development program to set at the
kinder garden, primary school, colleges and Universities this
structure to improve the Mind, the Body and the Spirit
The Traditional Karate Do Institute has members in many continents around the World.
We promote with them and Educational program for Instructors to make a better way of teaching the Traditional Karate Do.
All new members are welcome to join us, share our principles and goals to contribute to the society creating better persons through the Budo philosophy of Martial Arts.
The Traditional Karate Do Institute is a ESO (Elegible Style Organization) created in 1997 and founded in 1998, reestablished in 2012.
We created a professional kyu system, all kyu practitioners from the TKI will receive after their examination a Certificate.
Our Dan Diplomas are also incorporated after the Dan examination by the candidates who tested for Dan degree. We recommend to all to register this Dan degree at the World Traditional Karate-do Federation trough the National Organization representative.
